This used but still in overall excellent condition Taylor 814ce Cocobolo is a limited run piece of only 50 guitars which were made for NAMM 2018. In addition to the upgraded, beautiful exotic Cocobolo back and sides wood we re all familiar with, this 814ce boasts a Singing Sitka spruce top. Singing spruce was harvested from a special tree and features a wider and more uniform grain, which enhances resonance and clarity at the same time. Other features include Performance hide-glued braces, a classy abalone rosette surrounded by ebony and ivoroid, an ebony binding, Presentation Series headstock inlay, a thinner 3.5-mil gloss finish, ES2 electronics, and a shaded edgeburst finish on the back, sides, and and neck.
